This school holidays, we’re opening the Queer Studio with Heaps Decent for a Free 2-Day Music Bootcamp for Trans and Queer Teens to write and record your own original tracks!
PLEASE NOTE: DAY 2 RECORDING SESSIONS ARE FULL BUT SPOTS ARE STILL OPEN FOR DAY 1.
What’s On Offer:
• Day 1: Songwriting Masterclass w/ Betty + Group Choir Session – no experience necessary! Whether you’re working on your first song or your tenth, come through and collaborate with others.
• Day 2: 1:1 Recording Sessions with a Producer – limited to just 6 spots! This is your chance to take your song into the studio and record it with professional guidance.
Spots for the 1:1 recording sessions are limited, but Day 1 (songwriting masterclass + choir session) is open to everyone!
This bootcamp is all about creativity, community, and making space for queer voices in music. Whether you’re a first-time songwriter or an experienced artist, this is the time to level up your music journey.
When: Wednesday, 15th and Thursday, 16th of January 2025 from 10.30am to 4.30pm.
Where: Heaps Decent, Level 3/119 Bathurst St, Sydney NSW 2000
Who: Trans, Non-Binary, Gender Diverse + Queer young people aged 15-19.
If you’re under 18, we will need a parent and/or responsible adult to sign a form. We understand that this can be complicated for many reasons, so please reach out to chat if you can’t get someone to sign for you - claud@heapsdecent.com
Food: Lunch will not be provided so make sure to bring something to eat / money to purchase some food. Snacks will be provided.
